  Living with an extremely rare Auto Immune disease is not easy. Commercial Pharmacies seem to not care about what the customer is struggling with. At "Ray's" drugs they almost make you feel like you are part of a family. Mike heads up a team of employee's that truly care about the well-being of their customer. When my old pharmacy closed down with no explanation I was lost, my meds sent to Walgreen's where I went for several months. Each month always having several problems regarding my medications. Being also Mal-absorbent I am force to take a higher quantity of medication and nutrients then most people. Without these the doctors have told me I will die! Having problems each month trying to fill my life saving prescription became nothing but stress. My endocrinologist found that "Ray's" drugs carried one of the rare injections I need a few years preciously. They were the only pharmacy in the state that could get it. It was.the only medication I got from them. After visiting several local (close to home) mom & pop (so 2 say) establishments. NONE OF THEM carried everything I was in need of. So while picking up my one that only Ray's carrys I decided to inquire with them about my lengthy medical needs. WoW they did NOT even hesitate! Even stated if there was something they didn't carry they would ORDER IT! AMAZING, There are CARING PEOPLE. Well that was just the beginning. It has been several years now and over the course the staff has went over and beyond for me and my family. Dealing with my older son isn't easy and they do it. There are times I am unable to drive in and pick up my medication, so they deliver them. The man who does I believe his name is Jeffery (this may be wrong because I am hard of hearing) he has a way of making me smile or laugh EVERYTIME he comes to my door. He doesn't look twice at my mess but is ALWAYS in concern of my best interest. From ordering me compression hose, making sure I NEVER run out of the meds I need to stay alive, they have even worked very hard on getting my insurance to cover my supplements, due to they are a medical need. When able I do drive and pick up my meds. On Friday I called and inquired if my meds were ready and I was on my way. Almost there I stopped at SpeedWay (air is FREE IN LIVONIA) to air up my tires. As I began to the stem on my driver tire blew across the parking lot and I stood and watched my tire deflate. Oh did I mention I am not a very lucky person! So I called Ray's and asked if they would please deliver my meds? Explained what happened and told them my son was home. Less then a mile away I knew by time I got done with this problem, I would be done for the day. Grabbing my insurance bill and seeing Yes I do pay for roadside, they tell me for some reason it is inactive (that luck thing again). So I take the spare off from underneath my truck get out the jax. Then get back in, to read the manual, to figure out where to place the jax. As I am reading I look up and there is my pharmacist with that huge bag of medication? Looking at my tire (and the stress on my face I'm sure) he insist he change it for me. Boy it wasn't easy. He ended up going and changing but not before he ruined a beautiful pair of Nike's. It made me feel care about, yet terrible all in one. There are few words for me to describe how THANKFUL in so many different ways I am for this business. If it were my choice every person I encountered that used a pharmacy I would make go there. They don't just deserve 5 stars but all the stars in the sky. Thank You Ray's drugs your more then just a pharmacy to me.
